Meet as group to discuss ideas for web page.  We decide to make the page about our personal interests.  Each group member will design and build his 2-3 pages.  No specifics about software discussed.

More instruction given in class regarding project.  We briefly discuss and decide that we will all design the content of our pages but that Pete would assemble the site using Dream Weaver.  This will help to fulfill the teacher’s assignment by creating the most fluent and professional looking page.

Pete also agrees to do the write up due on Tuesday while we work to complete the database project.

We discover a new teacher and are explained a different approach to web page design.  We realize we were going about the project in-correctly.  The members present meet after class and decide to take the page in a new direction.  We will now solve the problem of boredom in the summer.  We discuss designing 2 pages each that would discuss top activities in the areas in which we live.

More instruction is provided today in class about project.  We meet briefly to discuss direction and progress.  Several group members are absent and have been difficult to contact.  We agree to continue with original plan of having Pete take our content and place it into a template he would design on Dream Weaver.   Later that night I begin to gather data, I determine which company I will discuss.  I decide that Roseville’s Golfland Sunsplash will be the cure for boredom in the summer time for this area.  I begin to gather pictures and write up a description.  I also send out emails and call members of group not present today to inform them of the changes and what we need from each member.

Due to change in teacher, the write up isn’t due until today.  No Class, so I use the time to finalize the page about Sunsplash.  Pete sends me the final write up.  I read and edit it, and after adding a few things, I email it to the professor.

During class we realize a few technical problems about placing different pages on different saclink accounts.  Namely, to go to a new page will open a new browser window.  Problem solved by asking teacher if it’s ok to place the whole page on one saclink account.  Later that night, about 10:45 to be exact, Pete calls me to ask me for the rest of my content.  Due to miss-communication I thought I only needed one activity for my page.  He thought we were doing the top 5 activities in your area.  I liked his idea better anyways.  I quickly pull together the content and send it to Pete.  I email absent group members again hoping to be able to pull this project together.  I finish writing the Journal and post it to my Saclink account.  It’s now about 1am.  I’m tired.

Today we met around 3pm as a grout to make sure the final project was completely loaded and that it was correct.  I helped some group members to use the FTP as they had been experiencing difficulty.  Our project is now completed!
