Site Development and Documentation
10/25: I attempted to download Microsoft DreamWeavervia a web source. I was forced to wait a week before realizing there was no valid response to my online inquiry. Alternative means to design and edit my webpage portion is a must.
11/02: I was informed by a group member (thusly confirming my online suspicions) that DreamWeaver is not available to download online; that program was only available at school. I was told about a different source, a more user-friendly source--Sea Monkey. I dowloaded (attempted, rather) the Sea Monkey program. I had no luck. The editing software did not seem to work on my computer. This was proving to be a challenging task.
11/07: After exercising an attempt in futility, Sea Monkey was no longer a viable option for this assignment. I could no longer work on this assignment at home, but would instead have to complete the assignment piece-meal at school.
11/11: We held a group meeting at school to gather our sources and determine our group progress. I was briefly shown how to operate Dream Weaver on a group member's lap top since I did not have one and the lab was closed.
11/16: I spent some of my afternoon on campus in the computer lab, attempting to figure out DreamWeaver. After much frustration, I was able to figure out the program bit-by-bit. After a memory lapse, I forgot how to properly save my work. I got a hold a group member and are meeting tomorrow.
11/17: Crunch time is upon us...My group member was able to explain to me how to properly save my documentation (and a few other things I had questions on). Momentum was made and my section was nearing completion.
11/18: The group's final (hopefully) meeting date to compile everyone's work and launch our sight. YAY!
