Dimpal Patel

Dedication, Determination, and Persistence. These are three words that greatly describe my personality. My name is Dimpal Patel and I'm from South Lake Tahoe, California. I graduated from South Tahoe High just last June and am very proud to be part of this Sac State University. I have one older sister, who is a senior here at Sac State. I also have a younger brother, who has just entered 7th grade. I go back to Tahoe very often to see my wonderful mom and dad. Although I don't have any pets, taking care of my little brother can sometimes make it feel as if I do. I'm a pre-nursing major in hopes of becoming a pediatrician since I was a small child. I've always wanted to pursue a career in the medical field, and I hope to accomplish that here at Sac State. Some of my main hobbies include dancing, studying, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a very nice and outgoing person and love to have a good time. After college, I would like to travel around the world and see many of the different cultures and lifestyles there are out there. I plan on becoming a very successful pediatrician once I get out of college. Born in Stockton, I know how life is both in the larger cities and the smaller, more local ones. I love working with the many different types of people there are in the world, and I love experiencing new settings and new atmospheres.
