We all got together to discuss the Web Page Analysis portion on the Web Project.  While Saleshni and I struggled for a couple of hours trying to download software onto her or Gurpinder’s laptop, the other group members came up with a topic.

With a better understanding now of what is expected from the project, the group has decided to change the topic for our web pages.  We have decided to create a website for a new restaurant that offers food from 6 different countries to represent each of our backgrounds.  I feel more excited and confident that this topic will be more successful at accomplishing what is expected.

I am not feeling well today, so I gave our brainstorm ideas to Gurpinder to discuss with the group in re-writing our Web Page Analysis paper.

We reviewed the Analysis paper and Gurpinder emailed it to the new teacher.  We identified who will be creating what content and how they need to lay out their pages.  Everyone was here except Jamie.  I finished my portion today, allowing me to enjoy my holiday weekend.  Woohoo!  We will schedule another date before next Wednesday to meet to create the home page together and put all our pages together.

We met and figured out how to create web pages. Unfortunately, 3 hours later we saved all our work incorrectly and lost our editable version. It seems simple enough to create web pages, just very time consuming.  Gopi and Jamie are supposed to come to school early tomorrow to redo all the work we lost so when we all get to school in the afternoon, all we’ll have to do is upload our stuff.

Those members that were supposed to recreate our website were unable to make it to school in the morning.  Alena and I decided to start working on recreating our website so the group could upload their stuff onto the recreated website when class was out.  4 hours later, the website is recreated and ready for upload.
