Something amazing happens in the springtime in northern California.  The snow starts to melt away and the ski resorts turn into the stomping grounds for extreme mountain bikers.  I have devoted this site to establishing links to a few great places that I recommend you go check out.

First on my list is North Star at Tahoe. Check out North Star’s site to see some of the exciting downhill available at their resort. This resort offers tons of extreme downhill and the best part is that a ski lift takes you to the top of the mountain. 

In addition, another wonderful resource to discover some of Nor Cal’s trails is Trails.com.  This comprehensive site can direct you to a plethora of great places to ride.

Furthermore, my favorite site of all, Ogrehut.com.  This site literally offers everything from maps and locations, to snow pack and current weather conditions.  You can look things up according to region and skill difficulty.  You have to check this site out.
