My name is Jaclyn Parmisano and I am currently a senior at Sacramento State University.  I am majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing and I am living here in Sacramento to attend college.  I was born and raised in the San Francisco bay area in a smaller city known as San Carlos.  I work for an architectural firm downtown Sacramento as an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper.  In my spare time I enjoy swimming in my pool or floating down the river on these hot summer days.  I love outdoor activities and sports of all kind to keep me in shape and entertained in my spare time.  I enjoy spending time with friends and going out to clubs on the weekends.  I don’t really like to have things planned out in my life so each day is exciting and unpredictable.  My family is the most important thing to me so I try to visit home as often as possible to spend whatever spare time I have with them.  I am a very happy and dedicated individual and people who know me will say the same thing.

I have never constructed a website of my own and I have found it to be both simple and challenging in different ways. Using Dreamweaver is an easy way to understand the kind of things a website should include and I have continued to learn new things along the way.

Today I learned how to start my webpage and some of the basics that are necessary to make it possible. I learned how to chose and create a template that already exists for students to use and learn from. I also learned to do things like insert text and pictures, as well as organizing the layout in a way that I find more interesting to follow.

Today I actually got down to putting my webpage together. I had some initial trouble but soon figured out how to actually insert the photos I wanted to use. I fount that inserting text was the easiest thing so including the information that I felt was vital for my page did not seem to take long, and was not very stressful for me to do. I also learned and made hyperlinks that connect the different pages to my main webpage.
