Mission Statement

Here at CSU-Sacramento our goal is to create a women's rugby team that can go the distance. For the last two years our team has gone to playoffs and even sweet sixteens. We hope to keep that kind of passion for the game alive each year and in order to do that we are constantly looking for new players who have a passion for a sport that allows you to play hard and hit hard. Some say that rugby is to dangerous or hard to play, which isn't really true. Yes we don't wear protective gear and you do get tackled on occasion but you also get to be the one taking out the other team. It's a game that doesn't take a whole lot to understand but requires a lot of heart. See you on the pitch.
