CSUS Personal Web Pages

Personal/Work Web Page of Ken Montgomery

Welcome!

I am a Network Systems Analyst for the Computing and Communications division of California State University. My subsection provides all the network connectivity for the campus. My speciality is the Wireless network .   If you are looking for information on how to get a computer connected to the campus network, go HERE. This will tell you how to make an IP Request and/or Send updated information. After gathering the information needed to process an IP request, please send IP info to: iprequest@csus.edu.

The Jack FAQ will explain how to identify the various jack types used on campus.

And the 'How to use the nslookup utility to determine IP number - DNS hostname correspondences'  to find out the network (not the Microsoft Domain) name assigned to your computer.

I needed a quick way to remember the types of antenna connectors used on wireless access points so I wrote a quick page with descriptions and images: AntennaConnectors
