You have a friend who is overweight and is trying to
loose some weight. She was given many-many different suggestions on what to do.
Now she is asking you to help her decide which food she should eat more, which
food she should eat less, or how to loose weight in general.

Your task is to search the internet and find answers
to the following questions:
How much of each type of food you should eat a day?
How would the exercise help you to loose weight and
stay healthy?
What time of the day should you eat?
Why is it important to drink water?
You will be assigned to a team of 4 students.
You will each be assigned to search one of the
following websites.
1. Click here to use my pyramid guide to find out how
much of each group of food do you need to eat each day. Internet

to find out how the exercise can help you loose weight and give you many other
benefits.
3. Go to http://www.weightlossforall.com/eating-time.htm
to learn when it is good to eat.
4. Go to http://www.weightlossforall.com/benefits-water-drinking.htm
to find out about the importance of drinking enough water.
After you are done learning about the assigned topic,
you will write two or three paragraphs focusing the key points of each topic and
type it using word.
Then, you will come back as a group and each one of
you will share the information they got from the websites.

Conclusion
Great job! You have gotten a lot of information about the key components
of healthy lifestyle. You have learned about the importance and the benefits of
exercise. You also learned what time of the day you should eat and how much of each
food group you should have each day. Plus, you learned why it is necessary to
drink the recommended amount of water.
