Every year thousands of students experience loss of concentration that deprives them from living the moment. Knowing that graduation or the end of the semester is approaching, creates a revolution of emotions; emotions that trap the mind into a vicious circle of worries and stress. For many, their lifestyle is altered before and during final’s week, creating a sense of isolation from the world around them. Their schedule is mainly defined by academic routine of homework assignments, projects, and final exams.

Finals week, or dead week, as it is commonly known, does not have to be a burden. Studies have found that a connection exists between music and mind awareness. Many methods exist that can help the mind concentrate and focus on the task at work. One of these methods is music. Through the use of music, it can tell us how the brain works and functions. Another way of getting the mind to concentrate is meditation. In this website, I want the viewer to reach and maintain a conscious state of mind during any stressful period of time. By listening to relaxing music, they will reduce stress, increase awareness of time, and let go of negative vibes. My goal is to provide a website that mixes the elements of meditation and relaxation together, along with music.

If you go to your Doctor for stress related problems, she or he will likely tell you that perhaps the best treatment for stress is Meditation. They will suggest that you start meditating and this leads you to two problems. The first is where to get appropriate direction in how to meditate.
