Dancing for the Soul

What is dance?

Dance can be considered a sport and even an art form. Dance pertains to movement of the body and moving with the rhythm of music. It can also be used as a form of non-verbal communication. Dance can be a part of a culture or art. Also it can involve participation, social or performance. There are many, many different types of dance. Dance should be a part of everyone’s life.

Dancing to me is a release of energy. I feel comfortable and free when I dance. I am in my own world. Dancing is a huge part of my life. I know how to dance hip hop, salsa, country line dance, club dance and even cheerleading. Dance provides me with a good feeling and it has been with me for as long as I remember. Without dance I could not feel inspired and escape from the stress and pressures of everyday life!

I LOVE TO DANCE!
