These images were made during a cruise to Alaska that my wife, Karen, & I took in celebration of our twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.
While I loved Alaska, on land I was just another tourist making snapshots to show the folks back home. But on the ship, it was another story altogether.In the course of the trip, I became familiar with the ship. I was my home. My own backyard. And my own backyard is where I have often found my best images.
I found myself intriqued by its lines and angles. The way it caught the light and reflected it around. The way it framed the constantly changing view of the land and the sea.
When completed I expect the portfolio to consist of 10 to 12 images. Boxed porfolios will eventually be available. Selected individual images are available now.
