The information on this page represents that of Karen and not that of California State University, Sacramento If someone were to ask me what is the one thing in life, beside my family and friends, is the most important part of my daily living it would have to be New Age music. New Age music is something I truly enjoy and it adds to the wonders that life has to offer. My absolute favorite musician of all times is Yanni. I was fortunate to meet Him after my first Yanni concert in '94. After that magnificent encounter, Yanni and His music has become a very important part of my life. People kid me of having a "Yanni shrine", for part of my mantel is dedicated to Him. Yanni's veiws on life and His music, simply put, enriches my life in way that words cannot began to express. His attitude towards life is so powerful and positive. He has learned how to embrace life and make the best of every situation, even with the difficult times. Yanni not only has His music to share with the world, but a way of living that teaches personal enlightenment and love for all mankind.
Who Am I You Might Ask?I am a student at California State University, Sacramento and a lifetime member of the National Golden Key Honor's Society. I am in my senior year and my educational goal is to obtain my master's degree or higher in psychology. My thoughts right now are leaning towards teaching psychology or counselling. Before attending CSUS, I went to Sierra College and Folsom College. My main interest, if you couldn't guess, is music. My music collection is primarily new age, easy listening, and 80's music. Just recently I was introduced to an accapello group, The House Jacks. What makes this accapello group different than most is that their music does not sound accapello.
