Personal Information

My name is Sareyrinny Hang.  I love to read, write, teach, and learn.  I also enjoy eating, working out, shopping, going to the movies, and watching Kings basketball. 

Work Experience

I have worked with children for over fifteen years.  My experience range from working with children age six months to 17 years old.  My experiences include working in Montessori to group home to classroom environment.  I have been a tutor, a counselor, a mentor, and a teacher.

Educational Philosophy

Teaching is an art form that takes time to perfect.  Perfection is not doing something right all the time but learning all the time from doing.  Effective teachers are passionate about teaching and choose always to do what is in the best interest of the child and not always what come easiest for the self.  They are always self-reflective and self-evaluative.  They are conscientious of their teaching style, strategy, and opportunity in choices they make.  Proficient teaching is a result of personal relationships established between teacher and student and student and teacher.  Knowing, feeling, and establishing a safe learning environment contribute to student and teacher success.  All students are capable of learning and achieving.  Teachers who believe in their students and themselves work hard to make sure everyone around them succeed--students, teacher, parents, and colleagues.  Teachers teach to make a difference in the world, one child at a time.
