Do you know drunk drivers are more at risk to be in a car accident? The judgments of drunk drivers are impaired while being behind the wheel. When a person has had a few to drink, their decision may not be so decisive. Also, their coordination will be slower than expected. Drunk drivers think they can do certain things, but their reactions are just not coordinated with their minds. These are reasons drunk drivers are at a higher risk to be in an accident.

Drunk drivers are at more risk to cause highway injuries. Many of vehicle highway injuries are caused by drunk drivers with poor judgment and coordination. Everyday 700 people in the United States are injured due to drinking and driving.
