Saturday, Nov. 6th

I began experimenting with FTP up to the Sac State web server.  I first created a simple text file and tried to post it on the internet.  I successfully transferred it but it did not appear on my web address.  After hours of experimenting I gave up.

Monday, Nov. 7th

Today I asked one of my group members who had successfully FTPed his website homepage how in the wonder he did it.  We went to the computer lab where I witnessed how to do it successfully.

Tuesday, Nov. 8th

Upon the advise of my girlfriend and my other group member I began creating my website in the familiar environment of Microsoft Word.  I made my background and homepage and incorporated a picture.

Wednesday, Nov. 9th

Much to my dismay I learned that my teammate had been misinformed and was told by the professor that we should not use Microsoft Word, but in fact be using Microsoft Front Page.  Back to the drawing board.

Saturday, Nov. 13th

I was excited to learn that my computer indeed had Front Page, thus I could make my website from home and not in the computer lab.  Today I recreated my homepage and my transition pages.  By reading the tutitorial I learned how to hyper-link my transitions to my homepage.

Sunday, Nov. 14th

I created the remaining pages except for the pictures which were stored on my parents computer.

Saturday, Nov. 20th

I showed off my website to my family and added the final pictures.  Lastly when everything was completed I transferred the files to the Sac State server, thus completing the project.
