Welcome to my space!

My name is Jen Claudio-Addernei, and I'm a visual mixed media artist-biologist hailing from the SF Bay Area. I challenge my viewers to see our humanity, our consumerism, our values, our desertions, the beauty and ugliness of life and the value of art.

My specialty includes traditional media such as charcoal, graphite, and oil. I'm also fairly good at electronic art. However, my most recent passion is in recycled or "throw-away" art using packaging material thrown out by people. I remix and revisualize using a variety of methods (mostly empirical and experimental).

I've shown my work in online galleries, Northern California (Sacramento region) and in San Francisco, CA. I'm currently making and planning trips across the US for my future residencies. More news in the future whenever I decide to update here. :)
