Choosing the Right School for You

Online Colleges Vs. Traditional College:

As many different online sites will tell you, there is a big different between traditional and online college. Traditional colleges give you classroom participation as well as a hands on experience. You have the ability to talk to your professors in person at any time and the option of one on one help. You will share in the interaction of your follow classmates and have the ability to join study groups. You will also have use of your college library, study resources, and the push of people standing over you to motivate you. You need to be at your classes when they are scheduled and there is not much room for absences during these classes.

Online colleges offer more flexibility but you will need to have great time management skills since no one will be there pushing you on a day to day basis. There is no time constriction of when a course can be taken. You will need a higher level of discipline and drive to be self motivated. Online colleges are not for everyone as the course material is the same as a traditional college you need to be able to push yourself instead of having others push you to get things done.
