Math 35 (Introduction to Linear Algebra): The textbook for Math 35 is Linear Algebra by Jim Hefferon. It can be downloaded for free (as in beer) here.
Math 45 (Introduction to Differential Equations): A formal textbook will not be used. Students will have access to my lecture notes. The notes are free to download from SacCT. Due to the size of the file, I will not make the notes available to students who are not enrolled in my class.
Math 196J (Numerical Differential Equations): The textbook for Math 196J is Numerical Analysis by Timothy Sauer. I also recommend Scientific Computing & Differential Equations: An Introduction to Numerical Methods by Gene Golub & James Ortega.
