·         Conducting recovery tests to ensure the recoverability of the databases, developing automation related to all DBA tasks, in addition to backups, recovery and cloning.

·         Support SAP DB2 UDB DB; Design/implement a full cycle at NewPage.

·         Worked on DB2 UDB, replication, backup, DPF and TSM backup P/T all facets of db2 databases.Config and set up and tuning were my majors tasks

Project: DB2 UDB EEE v8/v9 on AIX 5.3, Support Siebel/Oracle APPS data Warehouses: DB2 UDB EEE on AIX 5.3 zOS MVS. Worked on Oracle/Siebel APPS CRM, DW and BI, Responsible for: DB2 DBA, SOX Compliance on platform zOS AS400 AIX.

·       Develop and implement policies and procedures for granting and revoking temporary access to SOX Compliant DB2 objects. Creating definitions for new DB2 security groups controlling under SOX.  Partitioning Oracle/DB2 UDB EEE databases set up and config.

Siebel Project Responsibilities include:

·         Oracle Financial applications and Group Lead DBA for Siebel CRM systems implementation project, data conversion and migration from legacy systems into Oracle based Siebel CRM system. Using tool EIM and EAI utility and interfaces tables’ structure, Automat Sql loading a process

·         Lead implemented the Oracle financial applications CRM and fundamental modules. Project Lead and Oracle technical and functional CRM DBA for E-Commerce Project. Supported production environment.

 

Oct. 1994~1997: Oracle applications DBA: MCN Energy Group, Inc. Oil/Gas/Exploration/Utility Company. Detroit, MI. Responsibilities

·         Oracle and Sybase Consultant for architecture designers for MCN oil Company using UNIX and NT platforms. Use S-designer power modeler later for all functions and managed database team from 5 to 20 people.
