Why Fitness is Important:

·      42% of Americans are obese.

·      Average annual medical cost of obesity was about $147 billion.

·      Obesity-related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer that are some of the leading causes of preventable, premature death.

Nutrition Advice:

·      Eating healthy does NOT have to be boring.

o   There are plenty of healthy foods that are very enjoyable.

·      You do not have to cut out any food groups.

o   ALL foods can be enjoyed if in moderation.

·      Try to consume low calorie dense foods.

o   High volume foods that do not have a lot of calories, resulting in you feeling full without consuming a ton of calories

·      In the end, it is all about Calories In vs. Calories Out (CICO)

o   Essentially, if you want to lose weight, you need to consume less calories compared to the amount you burn.

Fitness:

·      I will be uploading workout videos every other day.

o   I have already uploaded an introduction video-  Elev8ed Fitness Intro Video

·      I will be hosting live workout sessions.

·      I will be offering 1 on 1 personal training for those willing to take it more seriously.

·      I will be offering online workout programs as well.
