Obesity
The issue
Eating a higher caloric
intake on a daily basis and not exercising frequently is the outcome of obesity
for me. Personally giving in to the American identity of
fast food, cheap meals, and not taking care of myself at a young age is what
led me to where I am. Playing sports my whole life was the reason that I took
care of my body so I could be ready for any given night of competition, so when
that was taken away from me, food and a healthy routine went right out the
window. The internet would be a great medium for addressing this problem
because America has a very high obesity problem, especially among young adults,
so talking about solutions can reach an audience who wants a change and attack
their obesity so we all can live longer and experience a healthy
lifestyle.

How to achieve obesity?
1.
Setting a goal to lose 20 pounds
-
From October 2022
through January 2023
-
implementing my solutions
of eating less calories, working out more often, and keeping a healthy
lifestyle like sleeping and vitamins will help me achieve this objective.
2. Progressive overload
mindset
-
each week I work-out, I
will increase my weights when lifting, running longer times on the treadmill,
and staying longer at the gym than my previous weeks to get to my target
goals.
3.
Get a group of people with similar goals in the journey of
fighting obesity
-Finding
a group of people who want to lose weight or who are obese and forming healthy
habits and have workout days so we all can stay accountable on our journeys.
Helping each other get one step closer to what we are striving for and
comfortability and newly developed confidence to create a healthy routine that
is sustainable
Summary
- Obesity is one of my biggest problems and one of
America’s but figuring it out and attacking it now can help us live a healthier
life and be our best selves for the future.
- Attacking high intensity exercises, working out
with people who want to lose weight, and holding myself accountable to lose 20
pounds before the New Year will help me achieve these goals.
- Winning this battle with obesity can inspire
others to start on their journey so we can all be better humans.
