How do we help with lack of education?

 

Objectives:

 

Lack of education is where people have a below-average level of common knowledge about basic things that is needed in their daily lives. About 263 million children were out of school in 2014. Girls make up more than 54% of non-educated population in the world. The lack of education is a big global problem that needs to be taking care of mostly in poor countries. Children that still don’t have access to education is because of inequality and marginalization.

·      Improve the access to education for girls and women

·      More funding for schools

·      Better educational infrastructure -distance from home

·      Raise awareness on the importance of education

·      Focus on recruiting, training and supporting teachers

 

1.) By the end of the semester I will bring awareness to half my classmates about the importance of education and to how lucky they are to be at a university.

2.) Increase the number of children going to school by 10% within the next 5 years.

3.) Increase parent and community understanding of lack of education by 10% with this webpage development by the end of- 2020. 

4.) Increase school funding by 10% within the next 5 years to decrease children without education by 5%.
