The Showcase consists of two parts. The first part is the Review of Literature: An Analysis of using Assistive Technology and Educational Technology as a Resource for Educators using Technology with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students. The second part is a description and analysis of my Action Research Project: Resource for Educators using Technology with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students.

 

 

 

The Review of Literature is to summarize and combine current literature found in the form of essays, articles, books, and online sites that has been published about using technology with d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. The Review of Literature will lead the discussion and direction of my research.

The focus of my Action Research was to define and show a need to use technology as an educational tool with d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. A study was conducted through research, development of checklists and a guide of resources online, collaboration matrix and informal/formal surveys.
