Auto Burglary

According to Crime in the United States (Table 1), 724,872 vehicles were stolen in 2019(FBI).

FBI data shows New Mexico, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, and Oregon experience the most stolen cars in the United States. Auto burglary has seriously affected public security, resulting in the loss of people's property and personal safety being threatened.

 

The main crime of auto burglaries including:

Smashing the window of locked car in the order to steal

using a screwdriver to unlock a locked car that tend to steal

The useful solution for main crime of auto burglaries is installing car alarm systems. Once the doors of the car are opened abnormally, the siren would start wailing. Also, most modern car alarm systems are including an array of sensors, sirens, radio receivers, auxiliary batteries, and computer control units which can better prevent the car to be steal. The number of auto burglaries decreases by 5% in the following year after installing car alarm systems.
