HOW CAN WE HELP STOP CLIMATE CHANGE IN VIETNAM

Vietnam 2020

Population: 95.54 million

Mission

Climate change has slowly revealed its adverse impacts around the world. One notable country is Vietnam, which has the longest coastline spanning over two thousand five hundred miles. Much of the Vietnam agricultural is located along the prime coastal areas and is vulnerable in relation to the rising sea level. Migration to inland portions of the country, or even other countries, could result in a loss of language and culture. Food security is a key issue; since most the country's food supply is generated along the coastal areas. The government of Vietnam does not appear to be taking the necessary steps to protect its people, but is in a unique position to do so. Climate change is a serious issue and is currently effecting Vietnam at an alarming rate and is why we need to take action and shed light on this issue.
