The internet is the right place to address this issue and work towards a solution because the Farmers Protest is now the largest protest in history with over 250 million people participating worldwide. The only reason that is even possible is with the help of the internet-primarily social media sources such as Twitter and Instagram. By continuing to use the internet to raise awareness, there would be more than 250 million people participating, with even more sharing making the voices of the farmers be heard.

FARMERS PROTEST

The Indian Government passed three farm bills aimed at deregulating farming, opening it up to exploitation by large corporations. Farmers have been peacefully protesting in Dehli for over the 80 days without safety, proper resources to combat harsh weather conditions and access to internet. During the protests, police instigated violence and chaos by attacking peaceful protestors. Protestors were met with barricades, batons, water cannons, tear gas, and even bullets. Food and fresh water supply were cut off in attempt to starve the farmers. Over 130 protestors have died, with more than 200 in critical conditions.
