Youth Bullying

The problem that I’m going to address with my website is child bullying. In California during 2015 1 in 3 kids reports that they have suffered from bullying gin schools. Thirty-four percent of students in grades 1, 9, and 11 said they have been bullied one or more times while at school. This information is provided by the California Healthy Kids Survey. I feel that this is the perfect problem to help with an online format especially during this time because with both kids and parents stuck at home during the pandemic there also stuck using online formats for everything. This gives me the perfect opportunity to reach out to those parents and their kids in a safe online format for them to share their experiences and work together to see how we can help fix this issue when all the kids eventually go back to school.

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.
