How to get started:

It is important to network because at times it really comes down to whom you know. Connecting with people who are in your field may direct you to resources and opportunities.

*    Utilizing LinkedIn is a great resource to network and connect with professionals, but it is also a way to present yourself to future employers. The largest professional network on the internet is called LinkedIn. LinkedIn can help you locate the ideal job or internship, establish and deepen professional connections, and get the knowledge you need to further your career.

*    Attending career fairs is beneficial as it is a chance for you to meet employers on a personal level. This is also a great way to ask questions about open positions and get insight on how to stand out from other applicants. Some employers even do interviews on the spot!

This is the day you've been preparing for
Since the day you walked through that first classroom door.
Now it is time to say goodbye,
And spread your wings - you're ready to fly.

So shed a tear and share a smile,
And be sure to remember all the while,
That although it may now be time to move on,
Today's memories will last your whole life long
