& Education

Forest fires have become a very significant problem in California that directly affect the lives of millions of people. According to CALFIRE, a staggering 95% of these fires are caused by people!1. We feel that more education about fire safety and prevention that can be applied around the home and in the wilderness can help reduce this statistic. Unfortunately, a significant portion of California has been affected by fires. This website serves as a resource where you can find four objectives with links throughout the website that are important to our cause. Each objective serves as a strategy that WILL make a positive impact on California’s wildfire season. The information found on this website is easy to put into practice and it is our hope that anyone with an internet connection will take the time to learn from our website and do their part to reduce the chance of starting and spreading fires.
