Read: Continue with Section 7.1.
Turn in: 7.16, 7.19, 7.22, 7.23, 7.24, 7.27
- To clarify, 7.16 is asking you to draw the set $\{(x,y)\in \mathbb{R}^2 \mid x\le y\}$…does that make sense?
- 7.22 may take a moment to wrap your head around, but it is an important one. The first step for describing $\operatorname{rel}(1)$ is to unpack the definition: $\operatorname{rel}(1) = \{b\in \mathbb{Z} \mid 1 \equiv_5 b\}$. Next, use the definition of $\equiv_5$, and then try to keep going to get an even more concrete description of the elements of $\operatorname{rel}(1)$.
