Read: End of Section 8.2 and start of 8.3.

Turn in: 8.35(b,c,e,f,h,i), 8.44, 8.45, 8.52, 8.54, and the Additional Problem below.

Additional Problem: find a bijection from $[1,3]$ to $[2,10]$, where $[1,3]$ and $[2,10]$ are intervals of real numbers. You should be able to write your answer in the form $f(x) = $ some formula in terms of $x$. There are many possible answers to this question, but likely the easiest is to find a linear function.
