What Older Readers Say

about

A Ghost in Silence

I am launching an experiment via the internet where I am hoping to receive reviews from readers on my book A Ghost in Silence. I intend to put those reviews on these webpages, but right now I am just at the beginning of the experiment and so far have received only a few reviews from this category of reader. Check back later. Or write a review of your own, if you care to. I'll publish whatever you email to me, but no obscenities, of course.

I didn't finish it. You told me I would like this story, but I didn't like it one bit. And I think you should be ashamed to have written it. This is filth. Young kids shouldn't be exposed to people like that teenage boy.
Edna Livingstone
Thank you so much, Mr. Bess, for telling me about this story. I love those kids, even that poor Ad-Dumb (and Chazz is right, Ad-Dumb is sure dumb, but he just doesn't know any better at that age.)

I have the feeling that that family is going to come out of this just fine. The world is changing fast, and we will all benefit from those changes.

I have never understood how anyone thinks they have the right to stand in the way of other people who want to get married. And for them to say that it is Jesus Christ who speaks to them personally. It is quite horrifying to me. I see what "No Name" says. It's too bad he didn't finish reading the book. Or is "No Name" a she? Either way, "No Name" might have changed for the better by finishing the book. But then again, can a mind like that change itself?
