Please consider the following guidelines
and best practices to ensure a supportive and effective learning environment:
- Please arrive 5 minutes early to Zoom sessions
to log in and test your audio and video, so sessions can begin on time.
- Keep your microphone muted unless speaking to reduce background noise.
- If possible, turn your camera on. It helps me (your instructor) judge how I am doing with engagement.
If you are not comfortable with your "space" showing in the background, consider
turning on a virtual background image in Zoom.
- Take care that your zoom camera does not display inappropriate images
that may be regarded by others as distracting, inflammatory, or threatening to the safety of the learning environment.
