Problem

As students, we all have the desire to raise our GPA. However, there are many things that get in our way and hinder us from achieving this. If we can identify and provide solutions to some of the most common problems students face when it comes to studying, we can help students start creating more productive habits. Since each student is unique and faces different challenges, these will be just general ideas that any student can apply to their life as appropriate.

Almost all students today use the internet to find information, so it will be ideal for us to post this information onto the Internet. Students will have access anytime to the solutions we provide, which they can open whenever they are sitting down to do schoolwork. It is also the best channel to put this information because we will be able to reach students directly and avoid any distribution to the wrong audience.

Ways to Help Increase GPA

Keep a consistent calendar with all obligations so you can see when you can have the time to study.

Make a weekly list of all the assignments that will be due, in order of importance to help prioritize your time.

Allocate a set amount of time to study, and put your phone in the other room for this entire time.

Put your phone on do not disturb whenever you sit down to study.

Try different types of learning, such as visually, tactile, and audio, see which one works best, and use that one consistently.

Collaborate with other peers to study and share ideas/information with each other.

Study lecture notes and class powerpoint presentations to fully prepare yourself to do good on exams.

Use resources given by the school such as tutors to help with assignments and preparing for exams.

Use the office hours provided by the professor to ask questions about assignments, homework and exams.

Delete the social media apps off your phone so that you are not distracted by them through the semester.
