Math|Stat Events

Join us as we explore algebraic structures through quilting and bring Abstract Algebra to life! The Commit to Study and Math Literacy Program is hosting an Algebraic Quilting Event on Wednesday, 2/18 from 3–5PM in the Center for Science and Math Success (SQU 320). Pizza will be provided! Help create beautiful quilt patterns inspired by finite rings and algebraic structures. The finished quilt will be proudly displayed on the Math Department display board. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your Abstract Algebra knowledge, collaborate with others, and turn mathematical ideas into creative designs!
