Turn in: 3.14, 3.16, 3.17, 3.20, 3.21, 3.22, 3.23
- I’m not asking you to prove 3.12, but please read it! And you can use it for later problems. In particular, you can use it to help prove Corollary 3.14. Consider using induction to prove 3.14.
- 3.23 should feel very reminiscent of cyclic groups from 110A…which is basically to say that you should consider using the division algorithm
- Remember that there are some hints in the back of the book, but please don’t look at them without exploring first.
