Read: Continue with Chapter 5 up through end of 5.3.1.
Turn in: 5.35, 5.36, 5.39, 5.40, 5.44, 5.45, 5.46
- For 5.35, you need to determine the highest power of $x$ in $p(x)q(x)$. Write out arbitrary polynomials $p(x)$, $q(x)$, and work out the highest power of $x$ in $p(x)q(x)$. Make sure you see where you are using that the coefficients of the polynomials come from an integral domain.
