Read: Continue with Chapter 7 through 7.1.2. Focus on 7.17, 7.18, 7.20, 7.21, 7.23, 7.24, and maybe 7.12, 7.22 as well.

• Theorem 7.14 and Corollary 7.15 are really important…but it may be hard to make sense of them until after reading Example 7.16. Please read Example 7.16 closely, and bring any questions you have to class.

Turn in: Nothing. Please look over the reading, but put most of your time into Midterm 2.
